THE DOVE

 

Love is a fruit of the Holy Ghost,

Its power knows no bounds.

Love from the Lord of Heavenly Hosts

Is as mighty as it sounds.

Love can overcome all things

As it’s poured out from above.

Love comes down on an angel’s wings,

And it comes on the wings of the Dove!

 

Grace flows down from heaven as well,

And it’s there for one and for all.

God’s wond’rous Grace saves us from hell,

And picks us up when we fall.

Grace from our God is ours for free

And comes to us from above.

Grace is from God to you and to me,

And it comes on the wings of the Dove!

 

Mercy is shown to all of God’s own.

It comes with love and with grace.

Mercy is reaped as mercy is sown,

And it’s found by seeking God’s face.

Mercy and love and grace are from God,

And they all come down from above.

Mercy for all who trust in the Lord,

And it comes on the wings of the Dove!
